I started selling what we created. As I began showcasing our creations at pop-ups and exhibitions, the response was electric. People were captivated by the transformation from waste to wonder. The sales began to flow. As of today, I’ve managed to turn Rs. 30,000 of what was once considered worthless into treasures, all while making a substantial dent in landfill waste. I am now expanding to cover as many factories I can. However, I can see that independent artisans are now buying the cuttings themselves and it has become a small industry in itself.

This journey has been more than just a business endeavour; it’s a movement against the tide of wastefulness, a declaration that creativity and sustainability can indeed walk hand in hand. And as the leather cuttings once destined for oblivion are now celebrated in homes and hearts, I know this is just the beginning of a revolution in reimagining the art of what’s possible.
